Finding peace through art.

I have always been an artist. It’s what I know, what I do, and what I teach. I love art of all kinds, which tends to put me in a predicament of which medium to use! 

I have lived in New England for most of my life. I love the change of seasons. I get that from my mom.

I take walks almost every day. Being outside in nature is what inspires me most. Whether it’s the ocean, or a forest, or a beautiful garden, I can usually find something to spark some creativity. 

I find comfort in using my hands to create. Making something with your hands is grounding. It takes me to a place of peace.

On any day I might create a collage, or use ink, torn paper, or polymer clay. The constant flow of ideas in my head can often be overwhelming, but that’s the fun of it.
